Found a new Savage 510 in 22-250 for $299...anybody got any first hand experience with this pistol?

Doesn't sound like a terrible price, just have no experience with Savages, or heard much about this model(and don't see it on Savage's 2005 catalog, either).

I had one in 7-08 .
It shot 1 - 1.25 " groups at 100
The trigger sucked and the pistol grip needed work to fit my hand better.
So I sold it like a dumb a$$.
I could have installed a new trigger or had it cleaned up.

IMO a nice pistol.
