Not sure if they still have them in stock but a friend ordered a 223 23" from either midway or midsouth a couple weeks ago. He was at the range Friday and the groups look good.
I just can't help myself Ray. But with the barrels I have from Mike Bellm, VVCG and my friend Mike of OTT, there's no room for factory barrels at custom barrel prices. I'll stick with the custom guys.
But...... I will get a G2 frame...just to have one
I will stick up for James Lewis Enterprises. I bought my naked Encore frame from them for a good price, had prompt service and they sent the box and papers on request, even though the description was "new frame-only", not NIB Encore frame-only. Class act, I wouldn't doubt him too much. Yardbird
No, I was not picking on Lewis. I'm sure he gets his info from T/C and dutifully passes it on. T/C are the ones I was taking a shot at. . . . . or are they taking a shot at US???????

Midsouth Shooter's supply is advertising the new G2 length barrels on their website, but when you to them, they say "on order". They also have G2 frames listed, but they too are on order. Prices are listed. Midsouth is very reputable and I've been dealing with them for 18 years. Of course T/C could be screwing all the distributors, but I sure hope not.

Gotta love it barrels for frames that don't exist yet! I can hardly wait to see an actual G2 frame in someones hands other than some magazine writer. You really have to wonder who it is who does their advertising? Rich Jake

I heard that they were considering holding the G2s and releasing the G3s but somebody in marketing thought it would be better to call them the G2.5s Either way its better to get the barrles out prior to the frames because EVERYBODY knows its not a 1:1 proposition.

I've dealt with James at alewisenterprise.com in the past and he's a good guy to deal with. Bought a frame from him, no hassle, better than advertised and great service. guess he's trying to get a jump on the competition. If you go to his web site he says he is low on stock because T/C hasn't been able to supply him with anything for a while, guess he's trying to play catch up on his cash flow. Helicopter Bill

It's guys like James that T/C is hurting the most with their ignorant marketing. It's one thing to announce a new product. It's intirely different to announce a product replacement two years before they actually "may" start distribution. Shame on T/C!!!!
