Received my Gary Reeder 20" Bull 7 GNR barrel today.

The barrel is black matte with "Gary Reeder Classic" engraved on the forward part of the barrel and "7 GNR" towards the rear. The engraving is fancy cursive with white inlay. Boxed with the barrel is a custom set of redding dies. If it shoots anything like it looks it will be a winner. I will be fireforming 7 GNR brass this weekend with 7-30 waters brass.

What does Gary charge for contender 20" bull barrels without the dies?

If I remember correctly it ended up being about $25 more than the price posted on the web site. The dies were $90 but they are custom redding. The 7 GNR cartridge really seemed like a interesting wildcat. I wanted a wildcat that did not require fancy brass. In a pitch virgin 30-30 brass will work fine. Must say so far he has been a real gentleman to talk to on the phone and to deal with. Included a special note that they tested the barrel to make sure that the accuracy was up to their standards. 6-7 week turn around. Nice looking barrel.
