Thanks to all who participated in the January special on trigger jobs done as a batch at a discount. The response was about double what I expected and has kept me quite busy for the last two weeks! I did the last two from the January batched special today and will ship them tomorrow. So if you are waiting for yours, it is either enroute or about to be. I am now back to the two week turn around at normal prices, up $5.95 from before Feb. 1. Thanks again! Mike Bellm www.bellmtcs.com

And for those of you who can't be without your G-2 or Encore for even the brief turn-around time that Mike is offering currently, try one of his springs and the trigger job per his tutorial. I've done little gunsmithing, but with Mike's tutorial and springs, I really improved the trigger on my G-2. He makes it pretty easy. From the factory, the trigger was so heavy that it hurt my finger after 10-20 shots. The groups, as you would imagine, were pretty sucky from the stock gun. After the spring installation and trigger job, I have a safe, crisp, 2-3 lb. trigger pull. 7mm TCU now shoots about an inch at 50 yards with open sights. Previously, my groups looked like a buckshot round from 20-30 yards.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad to make a difference! I'll add to this that I am your safety net if you get into it and come up against a stone wall. I'm hard to reach by phone, but gladly talk you through problems when I'm available. Likewise with emails. And if worse comes to worse, you are always welcome to box up the parts and send them to Bradbury's. I'll "make a gun out of them" again and do the trigger job at normal rates. I won't even question your ancestry if you fail. On the other hand, I'll commend you for at least trying. No, I won't discount the job for it being disassembled. I take them completely apart in 20 seconds or less. Literally thousands of guys have done their own trigger jobs very successfully, and I do encourage everyone to at least take a stab at it. It really is not that hard to do. The worst part is installing the spring, but with my spring pliers, it is a snap! Next most difficult is finding and working out the last bit of creep to get that beautifully smooth trigger pull hiding inside each one of the Encore and G2 frames. This is just a matter of stoning and making sure the hammer will stay securely cocked. To those of you who have not done so, give it a try! Mike
