Encore Lugs Not Opening All the Way

I have a non factory Encore barrel and when you close the barrel it just doesn't sound right. While at the range on Friday my shooting partner got to looking into it. We found that when you close the barrel you do not hear the locking lugs snapping out. When you look at the lugs only about 3/16 of and inch show wear marks. Today I took one of the lug springs out of SSK barrel and installed it in the problem barrel. Now when I close the barrel you hear the snap like my SSK barrels do. While I had the lugs out I measured both and they are the same. Maybe this spring is on the weak side. I think I'll order another spring from SSK.
