Here's my new Encore with Denzel Roberts "Recoil Tamer" grips in a fancy walnut. I don't know if they'll tame the .454 Casull, but they're darn pretty! Let me know what you think, also included are a couple pics of my reloading bench.

Darn nice stock set. That mule is still gonna kick...but at least it will look good flying back towards the bill of your ball cap....

Let us know how those grips work out. I've thought of getting a set myself.

I don't know what they are worth, but I can tell you what I paid for them! If they do tame the .454's FELT recoil, they're worth more than I paid for them. I got them in fancy figured walnut, so the cost was higher, utility grade is $135 for grip and forend, mine cost $165 or $170 with higher grade wood. I also had him free float the forend-$20 and install a bipod stud-$20. I know realize I could have saved myself $40 and done the two options myself, but he was working on them and I figured it'd be easier, I haven't got much free time right now, bad time of the school year for me.

Very nice!! Do they significantly reduce the length of pull any?

der bunk, I couldn't tell you about length of pull, cause I never bought a set of factory grips. I bought the frame naked for $200 and decided to get some custom wood on them, I've always wanted it and this way I could afford it. I can tell you that I have a 9 1/4" handspread and they fit mine perfectly, but I would wager that if you chatted with Mr. Roberts for a while that he would send you something to mould your hand around and send it to him and he would make a grip for YOU that fir YOUR hand. It might cost a little more, but it's probably worth it if you're thinking about his grips. Hope this helps.
