The 7SM is a .357 Maximum case necked down to 7mm.
Just think of the 7SM as a short necked 7TCU and according to the folks at Sierra you can substitute 7TCU data for the 7SM.
I've got a off the rack 14" factory TC Contender barrel in the chambering that is a absolute tack driver (1/2" 5 shot groups at 100yds) that I some times shoot IHMSA with.
I'm loading Winch. 357 Max cases, WSR primers, 30.5grs of BLC-2, Sierra 120gr #1900, with a OAL of 2.483.
Have any idea of velocities with this combination? Wondering if losing that 0.1" of case length is serious! Well you did say 7mm TCU loading data . . . Hmmmm? Any info would be appreciated. LouisB
