New Contender frame, used .35 Remington barrel. Original problem was with misfires, which seems to be common with this caliber. The barrel was sent back to T/C and returned with a note saying they replaced the locking bolt. Shot it today and the action opens on firing, ejecting the spent case back at the shooter. Normally the gun and frame would get sent back to T/C. But we will be leaving for a bear hunt in Maine on Sept. 7th. I dont think T/C will be able to repair and return the gun by then. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I currently have the same problem with a newly purchased barrel. I just sent the barrel & frame back to T/C to be checked out. Good luck.
