Burris stopped offering the 3X9 LER pistol scope. That's the best of the bunch. Well I have one and I guess it's not going anywere. I can't seem to win. I like something and it works for me and just to spite me, they discontinue it. When Leupold starts making 3X12's lookout Burris.

Burris several years ago upgraded their pistol scope design when they brought out the 2-7 and the 3-12. Both of these scope can accept the Ballistic Plex Reticle, whereas the 3-9 and the older 2 1/2-7 cannot. In fact, Burris' discontinuation of the 3-9 may end up being profitable to you in that there was quite a few guys about 9 months to a year ago trying to sell their 3-9's because they wanted the newer 3-12's. I know I sold my 3-9 just a little over a year ago for the same reason. Hopefully you can find some good deals and other guys on the forums can use that money toward a new toy.
