Cool round ain't it? It's a Hornady 45cal SST ML sabot. The bullet without the sabot is .400 dia. and works great in this 40cal wildcat case for my contender. I'll let ya'll know how they shoot when I get out with them. I'll have no problem gettin 2000fps with them and they should make a great hunting bullet.

I was wondering about using those type of bullets in cartridges. The Barnes muzzleloading bullets look like they do a good job!!! But I don't have a caliber that matches any of the sabot type bullets
