I have a Contender hammer extension, I know it's an Uncle Mikes but not sure what serial numbers it fits. Anyway, I'll be happy to send it to a new home in exchange for filler screws. I just removed the sight from an Armour Alloy barrel to mount a scope and need to fill in the front sight holes.
I'd prefer stainless screws but blue will do. Thought I had some. Anyone need the open sights? They came off a 14" 44 Mag.

Greg,

When you use the filler screws, if they go in too deeply, try dropping a lead shot in each hole to act as a "stop" for the screw. Maybe a 7 1/2 shot or smaller. The shot will compress slightly during tightening and will lock the screw in so it won't loosen up also. Screw will stay flush with the surface.

Regards
