I saw an article in a recent magazine that T/C is going to be offering the 375 JDJ as a standard factory chambering. Has anyone else heard this?

Yep, It is already in the foxridge catalog. Hornady will be offering factory ammo too. Last time I talked to Hornady, they said it will be offered in 220 and 270 grain bullets. It should be out this Spring. We'll see.

KYODE,

I believe it will be a standard factory offering as well,

Midway already has it listed on their website and says they expect to have them in stock on 2/9/04, here's the link

I just hope other companies like Sierra, Barnes, and Nosler and such work up load data for this cartridge with the new bullets and powders on the market.

AA2520 and the 270gr Hornady work well enough, but I think they both can me improved upon today.

I am kinda surprised to see that it will be available in the encore but i guess, why not? I would imagine that there are numerous people that have an encore but no contender....

Mike, as per JD, in the Encore version, you can load it up higher than what the Contender can handle and "punch" something.

They will also be chambering the 204 Ruger in both Contender and Encore barrels.
