I need a sling swivel "post" for my Encore pistol. This is the threaded post that holds the handgrip on as well as serves as the rear swivel stud. I have several forends with the stud, so I don't need the whole $39 kit just for one piece.

Any ideas on where I could get just the threaded post? Has anyone made one of their own? (or is it just as easy to call TC and request/buy one?).

I made my own. I used a hex head bolt and a spacer to move the bolt head flush with grip. I drilled and tapped the bolt and loctited the machine threaded swivel stud. spacer and bolt from Ace Hardware $5. Bullberry sells grip bolts that they silver soder a swivel stud into hex area and you use a icepick, nail, small screwdrive...etc to tighten bolt.
