| Sierra makes a 200gr RN. Works well on deer as long as you don't push it too fast. |

| I have a 375 JDJ and was looking for a cheaper less premium bullet just to shoot. I'd probably shoot it more if I wasn't thinking how much it costs every time I pull the trigger. Thanks for all the responses. |

| Do what I did. Sierra sells seconds at the factory in Sedaila, MO. I don't know if you can order them over the phone. I buy the Sierra 200 grn flat point by the pound and they shoot great. These are what I sight in with and let my buddies shoot cause they are scared of the 260grn bullets. I was there last summer and got a sack full of them. I also shoot the Hornady 220grn flat point for hunting whitetails and hogs in Oklahoma. They shoot great in the 14" SSK barrel. Here is a photo link of my .375JDJ. Mike .375JDJ |

| McClura: Try Hornady's 225's With AA2520, I've been able to touch holes with my 375JDJ @ 100yds(12" barrel). What powder you burning in your 45/70. My SSK barrel(14")likes H322 w/300gr and IMR 3031 with Hornady 350gr. The 350 did the number on a big Ohio buck this year for me, Big recoil difference between 300gr and 350 gr! |

| Just as a note I just picked up the new Shooting Times as he had a lot of reloading data for the lighter .375 JDJ bullets. they were looking at the new Contender and .375 JDJ barrels and new T/C factory loads.
I think they tested about everything out there from 200-250 grains. |
