I am always building something exotic; now I want to see someone else's pet guns. My latest is a 30BR Contender barrel that I am going to try to build a forend for. I will post when I am done. For now, post a pic of your true love and some of the groups it shoots.

Alan,
You asked for it....you got it!

First pic is of Super 14, in .222Rem with 8-24X Tasco rifle scope. Second pic is showing homemade forend with 8oz of lead installed. Third pic is target.

Wade...LOL!
I was checking out your stuff even before I read this post. Really nice toys and I really like the PC Smith. Almost bought one just like it at a gunshow not long ago but my eyes aren't good enough to shoot them well anymore.

Bandit, That's a super 14 cut down to 8" and ported and matted by VVCG. Magnum is a much better shot then I with it off hand but last time I worked up some loads I could get about 1 1/2" 75yd groups off a bag and a few were under 1".
That's the best I could do with a 2x scope.
It's awesome to carry while hunting bambi in the woods. It don't weigh shit. [Wink]

Nothing exotic but this is one of my contenders. I have several others but this one always stands out when you open the gun safe. The barrel and the wood came from Fred at Bullberry.

  • Full bull 21" barrel (blued)
  • Stainless frame
  • Black walnut forearm (Presentation grade)
  • English walnut stock (Presentation grade)
It shoots like a dream.
