Friend Ernie Bishop (XPHunter), Marc Sheehan, and I are going to the International Tactical Riflemen's Competition this Aug. in Gillette, WY. It's a roving silhouette type competition where targets are engaged out to 1000+ yds. Ernie's gonna be using his XP 6.5-284, Marc's gonna go with an Encore i believe, and i'll be going with a custom Striker .243 WSSM. Got ahold of one of the guys @ The Outdoor Channel, and he wants to do a segment on the "1000 Yd. pistols", as he calls them. There are still some openings i believe, check it out @ www.dlsports.com. Be nice to have as many specialty handguns as possible there. Come on 50, Mike, etc.

I am excited about going, but not expecting at the same time to beat a bunch of sniper teams. I'm going to have fun, learn, meet some good people, and see what we can do with our specialty handguns. But I do plan to beat at least some of those rifle shooters. Well, at least I will try real hard. It would also be great if we can get more exposure of what specialty handguns are capable of doing.
