A very kind and thoughtful person from this forum is sending me a couple of dummy rounds so that I can get Mike at OTT started on my 20 Tactical TC barrel. I plan to use a 12 - 13 inch barrel. What kind of velocity will I get in so short a barrel? Anybody got one? Loads, experiences, any help at all? I need this for chucks at my brother's place this summer so if anybody can give me any advice to save me time, I would appreciate it. I will probably put a Burris 3X12 on it.

AlanC- I have a 24" 20 Tac and with my loads that are running 4150fps and you use 50fps/inch of barrel to calculate the velocity reduction in a 13" barrel it would be doing 3600fps or there abouts. Still a respectable speed for a 33V-max bullet.
