Has this gun been released in the States yet, if so what is thought of it?

I was lucky enough to get to play with it the other night when a journalist friend of mine came over to dinner with it.

We may be shooting a video with them on my place here.

To me it looks like the SIngle Shot conversion on a 1911 fram that Springfield Armory used to sell. Sean

THAT idea again? What's this like the 3rd or 4th incarnation of a SS on a 1911 frame. Never fired one, but the 1911 frame never struck me as something I'd want a lot of recoil in.
