Contender barrel values?

I have a couple of TC Contender barrels that I will be selling soon to help fund another project and was wondering what kind of price I should ask for them? Just wanted some different opinions. One is a 10" stainless 22lr match barrel and the other is a 30 Herrett Super 14 barrel with a deep blue finish. Both barrels are TC brand. I don't know the history of the 22 barrell but the Herrett has only had 20 rounds fired through it. I am also going to throw in a set of RCBS dies for the 30 Herrett. Any suggestions for a selling price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The 22lr match could be in the $175-$185 range depending on its condition or if you are including the open sights/a scope base.

The Herret would be the same for barrel only, just add $ for the dies.

I think that would be fair pricing, at least around here where I live.

Price varies according to locale. In this part of the state, the .22 LR barrel would bring around $160 (shipped price) while the Herrett & dies would fetch around $155-160 -- if you are patient and hold out for these prices.

Neither is a high-demand item. I recently bought a barrel similar to your .22 LR match for $118.50 plus $8 shipping. It was listed on an auction site, an no one seemed to want to bid on it...

The Herrett may have slightly higher value IF it is 6 groove barrel as they are sought after to use as a basis for 30-30 Ackley Improved rechamber.

Louis makes a terrific point regarding the 6-groove barrels. That completely slipped my mind.

I'll have to see if it is a six groove barrel. I am pretty sure it is an early production barrel. Maybe if it is a six groove barrel I could mention that when I go to sell it. Thanks for the info.
