has anyone shot the 480 encore barrel ,can you shoot the 475 linebaugh in it

I believe that the 480 is a shortened version of the 475....that being the case, no. You could always rechamber it.......

Get a 475LB and you can shoot both, the Linebaugh is .200" longer than the 480. My brother had his Super Redhawk bored out to 475LB. It has alot more punch! If you shoot the 480s, clean the powder from the chamber first, so the bullet will release from the Linebaugh case if you go this route. Powder will build up ahead of the shorter 480 case on the chambers and psi will skyrocket!

update, got the encor 480r 10" bbl today, the 475 lineb does fit,will contact tc for info but should not be a problem w/pressure.

What is the chamber length on it? Very cool, that saved some bucks.
