What is the highest cap,dependable function mag available for the SIG 229 in 40cal?

I would only recommend factory SIG magazines.

Several of my team mates that carried SIGs in 9mm, used the 20 round extended SIG factory magazines and they worked great.

I am not sure if SIG makes extended mags for the 40 cal.

If they do not, then I would recommed that you just buy a bunch of regular SIG magazines.
