Always a sucker for something new, and after reading review in current Am. Rifleman, I ordered 9 boxes of Polycase ARX ammo, 4 in .45 and 5 in 9mm, from Cabela's. current promotion has free shipping on over $99.

For some odd reason, after discussing everything but the sexual preferences of the inventors, the
AR article author forgot to mention accuracy.

The web site, polycaseammo.com, claims "match grade". We'll see. I would have preferred the "normal" bullet configuration, but AFAICT, ARX is all that is available at this time.

Hmm, GG I must have missed the sexual preferences of the inventors. I will have to go back and read the article again. However, the ARX stuff is labelled 'self defense" so the review focused on reliability, penetration and max. cavity. Perhaps you can test for groups and post here?

BTW all of the Polycase is NOT for self defense. I would have preferred that variety, but I couldn't find any online so I settled for ARX which they also call "match" grade.

My real question , when looking at the bullet weights ,is with bullets of VERY low weights and how about functioning in a semi-auto ??

And how do they behave at longer distances most likely slows down really fast.

For those of us who can actual hit things past what would be considered "normal" defensive distances it might be a consideration
