I shot a P239 that belonged to a friend last week. It was not that accurate. Frankly I believe my S&W shield is a better pistol, i.e. more accurate easier to conceal and less expensive.

That said, I do really like my Sig P229 in 40. It is wonderfully accurate. I've started carrying it in colder weather and it is not a burden at all. CDNN has some good prices on used ones purchased from police departments at present.
