I have a Don Hume IWB for my M&P compact and it works almost too well. Small grip plus sitting deep means it can be a chore to get fast access. I bought the Hume because it has a thumb break, most IWB holsters don't.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check both of those out. I have a Galco but it just does not feel quite right with the G-26.

I have a Crossbreed for my Glock 27 and one for full size 1911.

I don't know how you could beat a Crossbreed. I am sure some are just as good, but I found a winner with the CB.

Everyone is different, everyone wears it in a different location. But from the 4:00 to 6:00 position, it remains comfortable as can be when carrying guns that large.

I like the Crossbreed holsters and have them for nearly all of my handguns. I like the ones made out of horsehide the best. Can't go wrong with a Crossbreed holster. Big Grin

"Best" -- You know, some men prefer blondes, some like brunettes. I think red-heads are beautiful, but I don't think I'd want to marry one.

I've been looking for the "ideal" conceal handgun and holster rig for about 30 yrs. At one point I was carrying a .357 Smith in a nice leather pocket clutch bag I found in a thrift-shop. For a while I opted to carry a 9mm Kahr under the newspaper in the pocket of my portfolio/briefcase.

Right now it's a Springfield XD, 5", 45 ACP w/ Glock laser -- stowed in the side pocket of the truck, and sometimes in the laptop case.

What's "best"? I haven't figured that out yet, and I've been working on it for half my life.

A. Hamilton "The Federalist, No. 29, 'Concerning the Militia'"

[I]f circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens. This appears to me the only substitute that can be devised for a standing army, and the best possible security against it, if it should exist.

Check out Versacarry. I recently bought one for a Glock 27. I had used a Kramer for many years. The Versacarry replaced that because it is extremely low profile and seems to print less than the bulkier holsters. It is made out of polymer and seems very durable. Only been wearing it for about a month but so far I am extremely impressed with it.
