Other than to agitate normal people and drag otherwise non-committal folks over to the anti-gun side?

http://www.nydailynews.com/new...rt-article-1.2244745

This sort of sums it up (Bill Montgomery is Maricopa County Attorney)

"For every right, there is a responsibility, and for those of us who not only have a duty to protect and safeguard the Second Amendment but also believe in its responsible exercise, he did absolutely nothing for responsible gun ownership," Montgomery said.

“Well, people’s fear are not my responsibility.”
I don't understand this either. Makes no sense to me, and I have a CCW and use it. The guy was obviously trying to make an issue of it, by recording all the interactions with law enforcement. So, wait until a terrorist takes his AR15 into Atlanta airport and opens up. Then the "patriots" will be up in arms saying "why didn't anyone confront him/her?". My understanding is that this law was just about the only thing the Georgia legislature accomplished last year.
This basically means that the LEO's must wait until shots are fired before taking any action. Well, hell, some innocent lives must be lost to preserve our rights. The tree of liberty must be watered etc. etc.
Peter.

Peter;

What if a few of us commoners (stakeholders in this republic) were carrying while in said airport? Do you think that we would simply await instructions from the government ( which we own) o would we assess, decide and act as men and women do every day?

Gun free zones influence only law abiding people negatively, while empowering and maybe even inciting murderous idiots to do harm- after all they re cowards!

I say allow every man to arms, then watch how peaceful it becomes after a bit.

All the antis panic and wave their arms every time a arms control law dies a legislative death, then we hear chirping when the data truly shows that more guns really does equal less crime.

Yes, allow me to chose to carry aboard an aircraft- a bus a train etc. certainly their are a few places/events where such practice is not wise, then fine- courts of law maybe the only place I can really say fail into that category.

Either control or liberty- control results in dependence, liberty results in a responsibility.

Make mistakes in either condition and you pay the price. Social contract and natural law stuff begins here.

You people that see nothing abnormal about his display immediately attack those of us that are critical of him despite us having a .45 tucked under our shirt standing next to him in line. Amazing to me how any civilized person could side with this angry idiot.

Do you want America to turn into one of the shitholes around the world where half the people are walking around with ARs slung over their shoulder? Those of you in favor of this do more damage to our cause than you are capable of understanding it would seem.

Yup! And I don't want my wife or my son or my grandson to pay the price for some jackass. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Not sure I understand. It seems to me that with this law Georgia is already one of these shitholes, not because there is no law, but because there IS a law and it allows it!

Hide your guns best not offend the rubes? You're being a lot hypocritical here. Of course, most of the members here are against open carry. The man in question didn't break the law but the liberal media carried the story and your feeding them exactly what they want.
