I have a Smith SS 686 4" NIB. I'm not really a wheel gun guy. What semi auto (for CC) should I trade for? sig, PPK etc? What value should I place on the 686? I've been going to gunshows for better that 40 years & know to avoid the (if I own it its worth a hell of a lot more than if you own it shithead dealers).

not enough information

what's your build?
where are you going to carry? (OWB, IWB, ankle, shoulder, etc)
double action or single action (or that abomination DA/SA)
caliber?
laser? night sights?

guns easy to carry are harder to shoot, where do you fall on this scale?

need more info

Sorry to omit that. IWB. I have a custom 1911 CC that I built. Just wanted something a bit slimmer (for Sunday carry Wink). Thats why I was kind of thinking SIG 232. I can shoot. I don't need any of the new bells & whistles. Factory sights will do fine for the intended use. The two guns are close in value.
