CCW in two states (because they're not reciprocal, and I live on the border). I can't take a firearm onto a military reservation, or even into the parking lot of the Coast Guard Commissary -- which is not on a base, but considered "federal property" nonetheless. There are enough other restrictions on concealed carry that it gets complicated keeping up with the restrictions. Technically, the road out of town passes through a national park. They keep waffling on the interpretation of the state law, and I can't decide if I'm legal to have a firearm in a vehicle while I'm in a state park. Last word I got was that it's legal. CostCo doesn't want me carrying concealed -- like it's any of their business what I have in my pocket. When I first got my CCW, eons ago, I was packing a 1911. Then it got smaller, smaller, smaller, down to an NAA Guardian in 32 ACP. Some places I don't carry at all. Then again there's places where the Smith 629 is just plain part of the wardrobe. I don't keep a gun on the vanity while I shower. What's your story? (Thanks for the new forum.)

In Wy it is very simple everyplace not a gov't facility, religous facility, bar, or educational facility is legal. Never have seen a sign one that says no concealed carry in a business. National Parks are no go but State Parks are good to go. The main vice of capitalism is the uneven distribution of prosperity. The main vice of socialism is the even distribution of misery. -- Winston Churchill

I too am a little surprised at the lack of info. I'll admit that I don't carry all that often, and the one time in the last few years that I would have been about ready to draw, I was unarmed. My friend however, was not and the guy was close enough for me to drop with a big right hand anyway. He left quickly. I do know that in Louisiana, you can carry in a Bar/restaurant, but the legal blood alcohol level applies to carrying just like driving.

At work or if going anywhere it's prohibited my Mt law. Then i leave it in the rig. " If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand which feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countryman " Samuel Adams, 1772

I carry everywhere. One of the local grocery stores has one of the 'no guns' signs. My buddy said I was breaking the law, I didn't think I was, as the red circle and line was drawn through an obvious picture of a Beretta 9mm. I took that to mean - no Beretta- or no 9mm. I was carrying a .45 ACP Glock. According to our laws, all they can get you in trouble for if carrying into a store posted as such is they can ask you to leave, if you leave no ticket, no nothing. I would definitely not carry anywhere if I had any alcohol at all in my system. A shot not taken is always a miss
