I have a Galco that I really like but have also been looking at thewellarmedwoman.com and they seem good quality also. Purses are hard to buy for someone else so try to get an idea of what style she uses most often. Good luck!

It is a option the less desirable then on body carry for many reasons.

But if it is the only way some one well carry it is better then nothing.

Buy the best you can make sure it has a separate pocket just for the handgun.

I had a girlfriend in the '80s who had a concealment purse. She was skinny and the fashion was tight clothes. The purse was two compartments from the top with a single flap cover. From one end there was a third compartment with a built in holster. The strap had multiple braided steel wires so it could not be cut. I am real sure it was expensive.
She carried a 4" S&W model 19 and you would never know it was in there.
