How do you plan on getting thru TSA security?

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I can be corrected but unless you're an air marshall or other AUTHORIZED LEO, you won't get by TSA legally with just a CCP. If you were a LEO, you should know this already.

And to answer your obviously dumb question, I don't get by or attempt to get by TSA with a handgun. I would declare it and check it as baggage had I the need to transport one. I prefer my air without iron bar filtering.

Actually, I was answering your "dumb" question and in the same manner you did.

Well, let me repeat myself, if you're NOT a LEO you can't fly on a commercial airplane carrying. If you are a LEO, you must be full time and it must be on your official duties, and you have to have a permit from the Feds and meet various other requirements. Is that clear enough? Geesh.

If you're not an LEO, it was a dumb question, and if you are a LEO, you should have known it, and it was a dumb question.

Gato, I guess the CCW part confused you (as well as the PM part).
I have some questions I would like to ask someone who flies regularly AND recently with a CCW - as opposed to any other type of firearm i.e. hunting type pistol, etc.
Your original question basically insinuated that I might be skeeming a plan to skirt the TSA, which would be quite foolish on anyones part. There is but one way to go thru the TSA regardless if one is a LEO or not and that is to declare the firearm(s) in checked luggage, lock it up in hard sided case and ID yourself. Refer to TSA web site. There are certain exceptions for certain types of LEOs but not all.
I answered your question in the same manner it was asked to me.
You set the tone not me.

Actually, no, there is a difference with LEOs. But I'm sure you'll find out the difference.
