It was only a matter of time until this "expert" either shot himself in the leg or blew some of his fingers off. This guy is a joke. I bet he is having a difficult time negotiating the stairs to his bedroom in the basement of his parent's house. Can clowns from Illinois be nicknamed Tex?

there is NO comedy here.. at the local range, we had a guy doing quickdraw, and hit himself in the thigh. He died, from bleeding out, in minutes.
Just a bit differant angle on the shot he wouldn't be here to talk about it.
I give him certit in showing the video explaining how it happen.
For all you 1911 fans stuff happens see how he was able to walk away and attend to himself after getting shot with the mighty 45acp.
Blameing the 1911 for this is like blaming a Glock because somebody shoots themselfs with one.

Local Constabulary (Portland Oregon) was demonstrating "quick draw" at the range -- tossed his Glock 22 full-length of the handgun range.
No discharge. He got lucky.
Above . . . Jeez! They'll sell Kimbers to anyone.

I shoot a lot at the Volusia county range. I rarely go on weekends because I am afraid to. I am much more into rifles than handguns, just the opposite of five years ago, but I run about 20/50 rounds a week through my carry gun. So on weekends, I'm scared silly by what happens on the handgun side. The range masters are a really great bunch and so far only one guy has been shot over the last fifteen years or so.
Any *idiot* can buy a handgun. If you need to see that demonstrated visit Strickland Range in Volusia County on a weekend.
