I've been buggin the hell out of my father to sell me his Colt 380 Mustang Pocketlight. He started CC a S&W revolver and isn't carrying the Mustang in his pocket anymore. He's interested in old S&W revolvers and found one for sale that he wanted. I thought he would laugh when I offered him $300 for the Colt, but he said OK knowing it's worth twice that!! He got his gun and I got what I wanted. dancing
Now just wish me luck finding ammo for it. killpc

I think he knew that when he sold it to me. Slick dad, very slick.

Kids and Dads shouldn't worry about who go the better deal if they are both happy. Personaly when I sell guns to good freinds and my kids I sell them for what I have in them and don't make a thing on them. Some times the kids come out way ahead Smiler but then I get along really well with them more then once my math have been off on the low side.

I owned one several years back. I concur with Wm; stand about 25 yards in front of me and give me one shot. I guarantee it will be the last decision you make for a long time, except on pulling the plug on the life support system you're on.

Agreed. My dad is one of the fairest people you'll ever meet. The "better deal" part was kind of a joke. And I can find ammo if I have to.

I was likewise joking about Griz78's new pea shooter. We are old friends, and I love to give him hell.

No thanks on the offers to stop that lil bullet. I think we can all agree, however, that if you knew you were going to be in a gunfight, you wouldn't bring a .380 with you if you had other options. I'm entitled to my prejudices, and I don't like 9mm's, .270's, people who are able and don't work, basketball, or red cars and trucks. Deal with it.

From my point of view ya got a great little gun. My father asked me a couple of years ago if he could use one of my pistols for CC (after a home invasion robbery) and I gave him his choice. S&W 60 in 357, Para LDA 45, Kimber 45 or the Colt 380 nitelite. He wanted the 380 because it fit in his pocket and if it fit he would have it 24/7. Loaded 2 mags with 90 grain hydroshok and handed it over. If your within 25ft you better be running away.
