It's designed to disguise it's intended purpose.

With some other props (Glasses and a pocket protector) you could easily convince a potential adversary you are a harmless nerd...

I don't see it as a "concealed" carry. When I see one of those boxy holsters I know the guy is carrying. I use a shoulder rig that I can get to faster in any position and nobody knows I am carrying.

To anyone who is not familiar with the design it might prove effective but to anyone who is looking for a potential threat it is an obvious give away. The flap slows down the access time to the gun and the placement makes it difficult, if not impossible to get to when sitting.

Its biggest problem is that it hangs out away from your belt, i.e., it doesn't pull the gun into you like a good Galco or other holster does and it's bulky... I can't even imagine a nerd wearing one w/his ipad or other ridiculous time waster in it. But that's just me.

I bought one just to have a look at it. I sent it back the next day. These things are huge as compared to a cell phone holster. You'd have to be pretty daft not to know that was something other than a cell phone case.

While not perfect, the "belt purse" is a great concealer and not as obvious as the above effort.
If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, they are simply a small bag, usually nylon, that threads on your belt.

I dunno about the rest of you, but I'm not a cop, and don't want to go through the mechanics of putting on a shoulder holster every time I'm going out of the house.

So far, if I'd been doing that twice a day since I was 30 that would be approximately 25000 times I'd have had to put the thing on and take it off and I've never had a reason to use it. Now I have used a car carry pistol a time or three, but that's the point.

I'm not saying someone shouldn't wear a shoulder rig, that's their choice, I'm just saying that it's not for me for daily use.
