My brother is an LEO and can get brand new Glocks through the LEO dealer for around 390 plus tax. I love my XD but being the G23 is a tad smaller, I think I am going to sell my XD (got a guy willing to give me 400) to pay for it. Brothers got a G27 and while I like it, its a touch small for me to enjoy shooting. Anyone think I'm crazy?

I agree about the grip, it was what sold me on the XD. Another concern I have is reloads. I used to shoot the Hornady 180gr lead SWC over titegroup, in the XD. I have since moved to Berry's but seeing as theyre not in stock and I have a solid ass-ton of lead, I'm going to start casting. Heard lots about the glock and the polygonal rifling and lead. What gives? If I gas check them can I safely shoot lead?

I'd stay with the XD!
When is the last recall on the XD vs. how many over the years with Glock!

Well I took the plunge, and I absolutely love it. I put the medium backstrap on it and it feels just as good if not better than my XD, kinda wish I still had it around to compare.
