I just heard Zimmermans Attorney state that the defense bill was in excess of $1 million so far that right 6 zeros. He stated he estimated 1/2 mil at first but if there fuel for fire so will the fire burn. The attorney stated they ran out of donated money and he has picked up the bills that haven't been paid. This goes to show you why wealthy people don't get convicted in that they can afford a defense team that will turn over every rock in the field. Zimmermans source of funds was donated and I am curious if money of this magnitude will be raised when the next incident occurs. NRA Life Member, ILL Rifle Assoc Life Member, Navy

There is insurance available to pay for your defense should you be charged in connection with the lawful use of a waapon. In my mind, it's money well-spent. Check out Texas Law Shield. I have no association with that company or firm. I understand there are similar companies in other states. We should all join up, if nothing else than to protect our rights.

Something doesn't sound right. I was under the impression that the State of Florida pays defense costs in casses of acquittal. ??
