Thought I would pass along a tip.

Sometimes its hard to find a reasonably priced holster for a handgun or you find yourself with old holsters you like but no longer need.

If you have a holster that is of reasonably soft leather but too big for the gun you have you can take up slack/slop by using brass cap screws.

Sometimes it is easier than trying to remove stitching and re-stitich.

For example, I used brass cap screws to convert this holster for S&W 4516 to a Kimber 1911.

Mike, I think #9 is backwards. Field dings are like "trail mods" on a Jeep.
