I suspect finding the "perfect" CC handgun is going to be as productive as finding the "perfect" CC holster.

Anyway, I have a size issue at this point when I transition between a 380 and a 9mm, I have a few requirements for a handgun that at this stage in my life I'm being pretty inflexible on, which is I like an external hammer, SA/DA, and for a CC pistol I can't seem to get comfortable with a double stack magazine so I'd like it to be single stack. Also, weight is important and while I prefer my guns to be steel I'd like this one to be light as possible as hitching up your pants or shorts when it has an elastic waistband gets annoying. Right now I usually carry a Bersa Thunder CC which is basically a Walther PPK clone in 380 with a steel frame. Something like this in 9mm with an alloy frame is kinda what I'm looking for. Does anyone have suggestions? The sigsauer 226 is a little too fat for my tastes and at 34 oz a ittle too heavy as well. I already have a CZ75 clone (SAR) and that's most everything I want except it's too fat also. I've never held a S&W 439 but that looks probably as close as I can find so far.

So anyway, if there are any suggestions like Ross Perot I'm all ears!

Mark, have you considered a Sig Sauer p239 in 9mm? They are no longer currently manufactured but you can still find them on the major sites. In fact, there is one for sale at Rock Island Auction on 7/24. It appears to be in excellent or unfired condition.

It seems to check your boxes. Good luck in your search.

ONly you can make that decision, check out the KHAR, go with the 9MM Luger caliber, they come in .380 size guns these days, all steel, flat, exposed hammer and concealable. Check out the S&W 'CSX' as I recall??? Browning ,makes a baby 1911 in 22 LR and .380 thats cute.
