Received my new Para Carry 9, with the LDA action yesterday. Would not eject. Tried 3 different brands of factory ammo, both magazines, even loading one round. On its way back now.

Anyone else experience the same?

I shot two before I bought mine (.45 and 9) and they performed flawlessly.

I had a Para 1045 compact 1911 style wide-mag. Flawless and I should have kept it. Sold it because of the price of mags -- about $65, a decade ago.

Para makes good stuff. Did you take it apart and clean/lube it?

I did....once in awhile s--t happens....

Probably something simple, like a bent extractor.

i've had the para PDA in 9 for awhile now and its been perfect, i would tend to believe the bent extractor too

I called Para and they had the same opinion. Waiting now for the new one.
