.....I hope this comes thru, this is a secondary source of the video, which someone may be able to find on utube. First shot must have been a head or spine.......Damn quick reactions. Good job!

Looks like a Glock.

The store owners gun I would say was a 1911 of some kind.

A CNS disconnect for sure on the first shot.

Hard to tell, but it appears he may have fired more than 8 shots. I'm going as much by the top still pic which appears to show a squared off rear more like a Glock, but I certainly could be mistaken. I'm also not certain about number shots fired because the video doesn't show everything. In addition, I don't think his slide is locked back as he goes around counter. Again, some or all of these impressions could be wrong.

Reading other accounts, downed robber was hit twice. Looking at timer on surv. video, whole incident took about 6 seconds.

I looked at it on YouTube at max resolution, 1/4 speed, and frame by frame. If you look at each frame at the 16 second mark you get the best view.

I counted seven shots, slide did not lock to the rear, and it looks like a 1911 type firearm to me. But the video doesn't really give a clear image so it could have been a Sig or any of a number of other pistols.

I count at least 7 and maybe as many as 9 shots. There were at least 3 and maybe 4 shots fired initially at dead perp., ( 2 hits and one seriously wounded display case) possibly 4 or 5 more at other. Another news report says (possibly incorrectly) that there were 2 other customers in store at time. If so, I suspect they did some quick 2 stepping. Big Grin

Shape of rear receiver of gun does not match 1911 to me.

None of above is meant to be argumentative, just how I see it and I could easily be wrong.

The handgun of the gun shop owner is indistinct on most of the video except at the beginning when he first takes a shot at the nearest goblin. There one can see that it is a single stack 1911 type pistol, without any doubt.

It brings to mind the saying: "Don't mess with old people. They cannot fight you, they will just kill you."

Well done to the owner. clap

Viewing Craigster's video, which is much clearer, it seems that weapon in question is almost certainly a 1911. Thanks for the second look.

Do they know the identity of perp #2 yet? Will he be charged with murder for perp #1? Hopefully he will get locked up for life.
