A nut job armed with a knife was causing grief in a market parking lot in a suburban grocery store. He was approaching people that were in their cars in a menacing matter while brandishing a knife, including a family with a small child. A legally armed citizen confronted the man and convinced him to cease and desist. Police arrived and took the man into custody. No shots were fired.

The story was carried in the 'oh by the way' section of the newspaper and didn't get much coverage.

I commend the legally armed citizen that stepped up and handled the situation very, very well.
