I hear that they are bring out a new R51 it at this years shot show.

Hopefully this one has all the bugs worked out.

As with guns and vehicles I like to let a few year pass before I buy a new model.

Cabelas had them on sale at Thanksgiving for $299, Remington had a $100 rebate and I had a $75 Cabelas gift card....so I picked one up for roughly $125 plus tax.

Took the gun home wiped it down and proceeded to shoot 7 or 8 magazines without any issues.

Took the gun apart to clean it, it was a little tricky learning how to do it but I soon had the hang of it.

Went back to the range and shot 6 magazines through it without a hitch. Ammo was mixed JHP and FMJs in 115, 124 and 147 grs.

I like the way it handles, shoots and carries.

I'm very pleased with it.
