Like other have said, I have searched for years for the "perfect" carry gun, and in that time, I have tried Sigs, Glocks, H&Ks, Smiths, NAA, Ruger, and probably a few more but have concluded that there is no such thing as "perfect".

My current concealed carry gun is a Para Carry 45 acp, and for now, it is working great.

Glock 21 in the peekup! And or S.A. XDM .40! SKS under the back seat.

While hikeing and or hunting, kimber .45 acp Pro TLE. And or .41 mag Taurus. Or 12 gauge 870 18 1/2. Depending on locale. Smiler

I define "carry" as concealed on my body, but I do "pack" a Glock 17 and at least one rifle in my truck. Cool

Colt Custom Shop 1991ZZ with a sticker that says "M1991A1 G.I., 5" barrel, Custom". The gun is one of 30 made to a set of custom specifications. I have worn it to the point that the slide needs reblued. While it is at Colt for reblue I will be carrying an Olympic Arms Matchmaster made as part of a special run for the Sherrif's Departments of a few counties. Both guns are set up for serious work rather than for competition.

My preference for carry is the Colt.

It varies;

CZ 75 B .40 + 2 mags
Colt Delta Elite stainless 10mm + 2 mags
Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Spl stainless + 2 loads (old 3" model, bobbed hammer)

I am currently looking to turn my 6" 29-2 into a 4" so I can carry it too. I am in negotiations on an original barrel.

Most of the time I carry my Kahr K-40 Elite. As it gets hotter here and fewer clothes are involved I will go to my S&W 642 or Ruger LCP. My Sig P-239 rides in the truck with me.

I carry a S&W 342-1 in a Myka pocket holster with a speed loader in my other pocket. I like the reliability, simplicity and safety of a double action revolver.

On duty I carry a 1911 and a Kahr PM9. Off duty is either a FN 9mm, Kahr MK9, or Smith 637 air weight.

.45 M&P full-sized. On occasion, a 9mm M&P, G27, or even a S&W642. No pipsqueak .380 for this kid.

M&P fullsized .45 for everyday carry plus a S&W642 Centennial for a BUG. Depending on the circumstances, I'll also carry an M&P full-sized 9mm and/or G27.

STI DUTY CT with STRAIGHT EIGHT night sights.

4.15 inch upper.

I'm using 230 grain Gold Dots at the moment.

It has a rail for attaching a light, laser or bayonet Wink

I'm seriously thinking of getting one of the new RUGER LCRs with Crimson Trace laser grips for a back up.
