duggaboybuffactive sambar wallow
went for a little look this morning near home, and checked out a wallow that had not been used since november. Well he's back!!

two weeks ago there was no activity, but this morning, i've noticed that a stag has pawed the ground (there has been almost no rain in the last 2 weeks) until some seapage had come through and he then had a good old mud bath, I could clearly see a antler print in the mud, about 22"-24" long
after following the mud trail I aslo saw a hind , about 300 meters from the wallow, hunted until midday without any further sightings. Just a matter of time......

sakomanG'day Tony,
Your young mate from Syd here.
I wait with bated breath for the pictures of the owner of that imprint in the mud!

I'm sure it won't be long...(hopefully there are no unseen saplings in the way when the opportunity rises

)

Jesus, you need to get yourself a GPS if that is the sort of navigation accuracies you are working on!

ozhunterTony,
Make sure you keep tabs on him for when I make it down that way.

Mind you, this won't be for a while as i'm off to Zim in a few weeks to chase a couple Marauding Ele's then Zanzibar and Kenya for about month.
PS. I will think of you guys as I drink a Tusker Beer on the tsavo Bridge.
Cheers
Adam.
