BAW,
You know that when you make a post like this that you are suppost to give the DETAILS.
What barrel did you wind up with?
What alloy and lube are you using?
What bullet mold?
Load data?
Everone who has tried to shoot accurate cast bullet loads knows that it is harder than just using jacketed bullets. MOA with cast bullets is a hard act to follow, like .3" jacketed bullet groups with a "normal" rifle.

The Barrel is a new (still in grease) US surplus 4 groove made in 4/44 and as tight as a fish's arse!

Load is 32gn 2206 for 1740fps with a Lyman 311284/208gn gas checked projectile. Alloy is approximately 1:15 left relatively soft (no quenching) and lubed with RCBS 'rifle'.

Bullets are sized to .310 and case necks are turned to make them all even and to allow the finished diameter with oversize projectile to fit the chamber. This exercise actually improved accuracy the most as neck tension on the bullet is now very even. Expander was replaced with a .310 from a 303 dies set.
