Bruce was good to me when we were in Australia, not going to speak ill of him. He was good to my wife, kids and friends.

Too bad the Gov is doing this to him.

Abela's was bought by Horsley Park - I don't know the circumstances. Don't know about the Queanbeyan guy - I haven't been there for a while since he had fairly erratic opening times.

Agree with you about Bruca, and that increase is just them the gov't charging for "services" that we don't want or need.

If he gets out of the propellant business, it's a long ride to Goulburn or Cowra. If NSW doesn't see what the ACT is doing and decide to follow suit.

Ok, that makes sense. Horsley Park and Abelas were brothers or related some how.

That Abelas store was the nicest store in Australia.

Bruce was great to my family, we even went to his daughters wedding.

There are people in this world he has f'd over, well.... repeatedly.

Bevin was ace, but if he was in a bad mood going in there was subjecting yourself to an old man on the rag. At his best he was and is the best of that lot.

If you think that's strange, you should try the man from Lynx Optics - just - unpleasant.

BTW - did we ever meet and have beers at the Raiders Club in Gungahlin?

I had some strange email exchanges with such a dude. Sometimes the drive that takes people into business makes them the worst type to actually run one, when it comes to interacting with the public.

Yep.

Sometimes a man has really great product (I look at you Lynx Optics) in terms of CZ rings ...

I have TRIED to buy them from the man, but I cannot - the portion of the site that shows the rings doesn't show prices, the portion that shows prices, doesn't link back to the actual product - the product appears to have different codes on different windows ....

I WANT his rings for the CZ, but he makes it impossible do actually order from him.
