There's bit of a storm coming. Should hit on Monday/Tuesday. Either way I'll be locked on base for a bit.

Good luck Bakes and hope not too much damage from the stiff sea-breeze.

Cheers, Chris

Sounds like it could be a big one.

Winds in excess of 220km/hr possible. More if it gets to Category 5.

Guess you will be on duty the whole time?

Stay safe, Chris

Good luck.
We had a nasty wind here Friday, 75mph winds.
Lots of tree's down. One in late aunt/uncles old place landed on the house and tore the hell out of it. Caved in half the roof, walls, room I used to stay in is GONE.
Dead cottonwood about 6' dia and well over 100' tall. New folks in there have been doing a bunch of fixing up. Sure looks like now they should have taken that tree down first thing. Hope they have good insurance as it's gonna be costly to patch up.

Well cyclone Debbie was a flop for us but Mackay, Proserpine and the Witsunday Islands got smashed. 260 kph winds. We are waiting for the call to supply troops for the clean up.

Glad you dodged it Tony. News looks grim from those communities.

G'Day Fella's,

Glade to hear your OK Bakes.

Yes it is/was a bloody big storm (physically), and has caused some damage.

Regards
Homer
