Hello Folks

Is there anyone here in Godzone who will rebore and re-rifle barrels. I have a little old something that isn't possible to rebarrel, but I hear they rebore them in the States. Not really economical/practical to send it offshore.

Cheers - Foster

If you cant find someone doing this sort of thing in NZ then you might want to consider Sprinter Arms in OZ. I had a bbl rebored/re-rifled by them many years ago. It was a sporter wt 30/06 that I had converted to a 338 wildcat. Considering remaining metal it was OK. Not sure if they still provide this service though.

I assume it's a c96 or something similar, maybe you could get a liner put in ,most good gunsmiths can manage that with there existing equipement.

It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack; not rationality.

try http://www.truefliteriflebarrels.co.nz/index2.html

in Mt Maunganui

He makes barrels so would expect he can rebore an existing barrel.
