A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

That is no good Bakes.

I heard about this on the radio this afternoon and thought the guy needs to be strung up by his nuts.

He's complained about the dog barking since they got it. No other neighbours have said the dog barks however. My brother has done everything they could to stop it i.e bark collars, dog trainer CCTV on the house etc. Then they get footage of him stirring the dog up by hitting the fence and making it bark so he can film it barking! The bloke is a fucken nut.

Thanks. People like that are nut jobs. They never think why their house isnt burgled or druggies are stealing their cars. Who the hell shoots a pet dog with a speargun for gods sake?

Anyone comes into my house and hurts my dog is going to pay!

Big time!

Sometimes, however, some dog owners are just plain stupid.

We have a large yards, with over 200 assorted animals in it.

They include cheetahs, ostriches, Arabian oryx, Scimitar horn oryx, dama gazelle, blackbuck, dorkas gazelle, ibex, did dik etc.

They are all in enclosure.

Our side gate is normally open during the day, as people are in and out.

Behind my house, I have an open land which people like to walk their dogs in.

We never had any problems with anyone’s dogs, until an English lady started bringing her two Dobermans there.

The dogs would take off, and come into my house, and terrorize all the animals by chasing them from out side the fences.

The boys working here spoke to her several times, but she kept saying we should close our gate!

Eventually I went to speak to her.

Again, no bloody chance!

Despite the fact me explaining to her that she was on my land, and I have no objection to her being there, as long as she keeps her dogs on a leash.

She still insisted that we should close our gate.

“Have it your way. Next time your dogs enter my house, I will shoot them!”

She actually said “go right ahead!”

I don’t think for one minute she thought I would do it.

Sure enough, a few days later I was called that the dogs are in the yards having their fun with our animals.

I took a rifle, and a few minutes later there two dead dogs!

We picked them and took out for her!

She went berserk!

I called the police.

It took them quite sometimes to shut her up, and convince her that if I wanted to press charges, she would be arrested!

Especially as she was asked to keep them out!

In most places in the states the same result would have happened.

Some people don't believe any thing you tell them.

I had a dog chasing my stock one afternoon - neighbours rang me to say . Had just come home from a sporting clays shoot so grabbed the 12 ga semi auto and a handfull of shells and headed out to see what was happening .
Dog was dancing and prancing around the goats that he had cornered , and diving in to bite . Difficult enough being surrounded by houses , but there was lots of neighbours watching as well...

Dog saw me , got a bit leery and started to run . Once he had my hayshed as a backstop I whacked him with a charge of 7.5s at about 10 metres , then gave him an insurance shot behind the ear to settle it.
Never had another dog come visiting after that . Word gets out fast in small towns.....

As the police once told my wife, Your neighbor is correct that there is not a leash law, but the moment the dog comes onto your property, he ceases to be a pet and becomes a pest and you can do what needs doing.

I think you will find that the neighbor went into the dogs yard and shot it with a speargun, not the dog was in the neighbors yard and got shot.

The guy sounds unhinged and needs to be dealt with.

Guy broke into the home, beat the dog, threw it over the fence into his yard and shot it with a speargun. And also stole items from the house.

I know exactly where this would have led to if he did it here.

He would have ended either in the intensive care unit, or the morgue!
