Just post it through the gunshop his work is first rate.

Agree with PC. The cost of freight is miniscule. Send it to whomever does the best work in the time frame your happy with. Bob DeVries is not only a great 'smith, but easy to work with as well.

You might try Gabe Gatti, Cairns. Hes into building full rifles(best grade),but may fit other work in along the way, ring him and ask.

I will second Rob Blomfield on the Sunshine Coast Pomona, if Queensland is the go. He has a 7x57 on a Mauser 98 that he has just built as an example of his workmaship.
