| I cannot for the life of me see any use or purpose for a sXs .223. I'd like a SXS 45/70. The idea of a SXS rifle as I see it is to have two fast shots with considerable power that will hit something at close range that needs hitting.
The .223 is a cartridge for "smallish" ferrals and "varmints". It can be an accurate longish range rabbit gun in a bolt action of single shot.
Just my thoughts.

| You are right Lame Duck, It seemed to me that otheres had assumed he was talking about a sideXside and so that is what I assumed.
A single shot .223 would make a lot more sence.
