Gidday Tankhunter,

Being a Tankie I don't know whether I should help you unless you are an old 2 Scots soldier or are in 1 Armoured Regt salute

What parts are you after. I will make afew enquiries round here if I knew what I was looking for. Give us a list and I will do what I can.

Happy Hunting

Hamish

Hello Hamish, well i always wanted to be in the armour ,but well never got to it only in the Reserve and got a ride in a Huey but missed out on the Apcs, because of a bike accident, we had a sheep property next to Puckapunyal and during the Vietnam war saw apcs and landrovers studebakers, soldiers, driving past our place often ,and got to see a live firing excercise with centurions and apcs, firing at targets on the hills , i doubt if they would ever allow that again to be open to the public, my father did ride on the back of Centurions in National Service and he told me they sat on their rifles because it was that cold.My grandfather owned all the land at Pucka, and the Government said '' We want your land and we are paying you ''this much' for it whether you like it or not'' So they took it, and my father inherited part of what was left after it was divided up with his brothers.I had always had an interest in Armour. The parts i was interested in were extractors ,or any bolt parts for Royal or Hunter models ,thanks for any help ,Good shootin
